Choosing a route by use case: three steps
Step one is use case. For video and social feeds, pick Japan or Hong Kong — the physical distance is short. For AI tools and overseas developer docs, pick the United States or Singapore, where the exit region matches the platform's service area. For European content, pick Italy. Step two is route type: if your budget allows, take an IEPL dedicated line for the steadiest peak-hour performance; relay routes are enough for everyday use; choose a direct route only when you specifically need a given city's exit. Step three is the auto-select switch in the client — turn it on and the client moves between multiple routes in the same region automatically, so you only pick a region instead of working out which machine is least busy right now.

Subscriptions are fetched from the user panel after signing in, and the client ships with no route information built in.
